Today, Division of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Deputy Secretary William Lassiter, Governor’s Crime Commission Executive Director Caroline Farmer and Office of Violence Prevention Director Siarra Scott traveled to Scotland and Hoke counties at the invitation of NC Rep. Garland Pierce for a pair of town hall meetings on the topic of youth violence. These meetings brought together stakeholders from schools, local government, law enforcement, community programs and other stakeholders
