Climate adaptation doesn’t always look high-tech. In Balik Pulau, Pulau Pinang, mangroves are being protected and replanted as a nature-based response to coastal risks. Led by communities, NGOs, students, and CSR partners with support from local authorities; this mangrove forest reserve offers a grounded response to climate change, shaped by the people who live with the coast every day. It’s not about fixing climate change overnight, but about reducing harm and building resilience where it matte
