As the Moon’s gravity pulls on the water, it creates a bulge or high tide on the side of Earth facing the Moon, while another high tide forms on the opposite side due to the inertia of the water. The areas between these bulges experience low tides. As Earth rotates, different regions pass through these tidal bulges, leading to
