“Patty Cake” is a great game to play with your baby to help them learn to clap. Clapping is a milestone. It’s also great for language development to say rhymes like this to them! :) In this video we go over how to clap with them when they are very tiny and their hands are still in little fists, and then how to do the game when they are older. Other ways to teach them to clap are to clap for them when they do something good (I always say “YAY” and clap so my son still thinks YAY means to clap! LO
