The Oakland Police Department (OPD) Media Unit held a News Conference today. Chief LeRonne L. Armstrong discussed the homicide that occurred on Sunday, July 17, 2022, in the 2000 block of 13th Avenue. The Chief also discussed the increase in crime in the neighborhood some call Little Saigon (2nd to 14th Avenue along International Boulevard and East 12th Street).
