The Sundarbans in India is one of the most critical coastal ecosystems on Earth, acting as a natural shield for over 4.5 million people against rising seas, cyclones, and storm surges. Years of mangrove loss left communities exposed — erosion increased, fisheries declined, and the coastline began to disappear. Through our reforestation efforts with local partners, we’re restoring this protective mangrove belt. Together, we’re: -Collecting native seeds and raising seedlings in community nurseries
