Our Queensland Fire and Rescue firefighters sprang into action last night after a woman fell 10 metres on Mt Tibrogargan, in the Glass House Mountains National Park. As our technical rescue firefighters navigated the darkness, personnel from QFD’s Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) unit were called in to assist in locating the woman using thermal cameras. The drones’ floodlights also lit up the cliff face, helping crews to reach the woman and carefully belay her to safety. Thanks to skill

The Reading Fire Department responded to the report of a partial building collapse just after 1:00 AM early Wednesday morning in the 100 block of Poplar Street, directly across from the Poplar and Walnut Street Parking Garage. Initially dispatched as police on-scene with a partial building collapse, crews arrived to find a two and a half story end of the row building with debris and bricks in the street.
