Interesting: These are re-introduced wild horses in Holland in the Oostvaarders plassen. This small and interesting breed originates in Poland and is closely related to the extinct tarpan horse. They were introduced into this nature preserve for the purpose of keeping the vegetation down and becoming a tourist attraction, which they definately did. However, with the introduction it appears they had no plan to keep the population stabilized, so unfortunately they have removed some of the animals
