The "Well to Hell," or "Siberian hell sounds," is an urban legend about a borehole in Russia said to reach Hell. This story first appeared in a 1989 broadcast by the Trinity Broadcasting Network. According to the legend, Soviet engineers, led by "Mr Azakov," drilled a 14.4 km (9 miles) deep hole in Siberia.
