It has been an exciting, but frustrating day, with lots of osprey action around the nest. At one point we could count seven ospreys!!! We have been busy chasing shadows, rewinding video, analysing photographs and peering through binoculars. We know we have seen two different intruders and that one of them had a BTO ring on its left leg. From the angle of the photo we couldn't see a Darvic ring but it doesn't mean it didn't have one - ospreys do like to hide their legs. We will just have to keep
