The Washington Wizards lost to the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday, 126-96. The first half of this game was tough to watch. Washington allowed Atlanta to head into halftime with a 76-56 lead. I get that the Wizards aren’t going to be very good this season.
After blowing out the Wizards two days ago, the Hawks will get a shot to do the same exact thing tonight and set themselves up to hit the .500 mark against the Blazers on Sunday.
BOTTOM LINE: Washington travels to Atlanta looking to break its three-game road skid. The Hawks are 16-21 in conference matchups. Atlanta has a 14-21 record against opponents over .500.

Trae Young has returned to Atlanta for the first time since the Hawks dealt their star guard to the Washington Wizards in a blockbuster trade last month.
The guard didn't play in his first game in Atlanta since he was traded to Washington, but a tribute video appeared to move him to tears.
