Tropical Storm Oscar is expected to move near the southeastern and central Bahamas Tuesday, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Oscar held on to tropical storm strength overnight, despite the blow dealt by Cuba’s mountains, as it rolled over the Southeastern Bahamas on Tuesday. The storm is expected to drop about 3 to 5 inches of rain on the Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos as it crosses the islands.

Tropical Storm Oscar is chugging toward the Bahamas after making landfall in Cuba as a Category 1 hurricane, killing at least six people
