Six counties in New Jersey have been placed under a severe thunderstorm watch Tuesday because of the threat of strong storms that could produce large hail, heavy downpours and damaging wind gusts of 60 mph or stronger.

On Tuesday at 3:42 p.m. the NWS Las Vegas NV issued an updated severe thunderstorm warning in effect until 4:30 p.m. for San Bernardino County.
