Former Vice President Mike Pence was honored Sunday night by receiving the “Profile in Courage” Award at the JFK Library in Boston, Massachusetts. Pence was honored for refusing to comply with President Donald Trump’s request not to certify 2020 election results in Congress on Jan.

Pence received the JFK Profile in Courage Award "for ensuring the peaceful transfer of power" on January 6, 2021, per the JFK Presidential Library.

Former Vice President Mike Pence on Sunday repeatedly invoked the Constitution and said it is what "binds us all together" after receiving the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award. Pence received the award for his refusal to go along with President Trump's efforts to remain in office after losing the 2020 election.
