The 29-year-old right-handed pitcher missed all of the 2024 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery, and he has a rather unsightly 6.66 ERA with a 4.48 FIP in 104.0 innings with the Marlins so far this year.

The Mets began to address their bullpen needs on Friday by acquiring left-handed reliever Gregory Soto from the Baltimore Orioles, as first reported by Andy Martino of SNY.
