A mother is facing charges after her son was allegedly accidentally shot and killed at a Phoenix motel Sunday night, authorities said.

The wildfire started on Aug. 6 and is believed to have been caused by lightning. It has burned 1,010 acres so far and is 0% contained, according to the U.S. Forest Service-Coronado National Forest.
