Many of the largest airports across the country will see a noticeable reduction in flight offerings starting Friday, as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) implements new steps to maintain air safety amid the ongoing government shutdown.

Orlando International Airport was listed as one of the 40 "high volume" major airports slated for a 10% reduction in flights, reports say. Tampa International Airport is also included in the list.

As the longest government shutdown in U.S. history drags on, airlines have been ordered to begin reducing operations on a phased-in basis.
