C.J. Stroud entered concussion protocol after exiting Week 9 with an injury. Here's a look at how long the Texans QB will be out.
Be it a strange situation in Arizona or the reigning Rookie of the Year suffering a grotesque injury late in a blowout loss last week, quarterback injuries are again a main topic for Week 10 of the NFL season.
Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud has exited the Broncos game with an apparent head injury caused by a big hit.
CJ Stroud suffered a concussion in the Texans Week 10 loss to the Broncos. Fantasy Football managers must shift their focus to a new quarterbacking option.
That includes quarterback C.J. Stroud, right tackle Tytus Howard and nickel Jalen Pitre due to concussions with all three remaining in the NFL protocol Friday morning, along with kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn due to a quadriceps injury and right guard Ed Ingram with a knee injury.
Stroud was forced to exit the game in the first quarter after hitting his head on the field. The Texans QB was tackled as he slid after scrambling down the middle for a six-yard gain. Stroud was not able to return, and it was later revealed that he had been placed under the NFL’s concussion protocol.
