Intense blazes in Manitoba and Saskatchewan are causing hazardous conditions in the Great Lakes region and hazy skies on the East Coast.

NORTHPORT, Wash. — All evacuations have been lifted for the Hope Fire in Stevens County, burning about 10 miles south of Northport. The Hope Fire is estimated at 8,177 acres.
