Following back-to-back away defeats at Coventry City and relegation-threatened Plymouth Argyle prior to the international break, Blackburn Rovers returned to winning ways on Saturday afternoon, when Swansea visited Ewood Park and returned to South Wales with nothing to show for their efforts.

Blackburn Rovers moved into the play-off places, as Tyrhys Dolan's early strike was enough to see off Swansea City.
