Amazon MGM and producer Scott Stuber have obtained the rights to relaunch Basic Instinct, Entertainment Weekly has learned. Screenwriter Joe Eszterhas, who penned the original 1992 erotic thriller, is on board to write the project. Stuber, Nik Nesbit, and Craig Baumgarten will produce the film.
