Luka Dončić joins Lakers after trade from Mavericks
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) — Luka Dončić has officially joined the Lakers after the Dallas Mavericks sent the superstar scorer to Los Angeles in a seismic trade. Dončić and general manager Rob Pelinka met with the media Tuesday morning at the Lakers’ training complex.

The superstar guard, formerly of the Dallas Mavericks, will be introduced as a member of the Lakers during an 11:00 a.m. (CT) news conference on Tuesday. Doncic was traded alongside Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris over the weekend to Los Angeles for Anthony Davis, Max Christie and a 2029 first-round pick.
