Stefanski said, via multiple reporters, that the team "dodged a bullet" with Tillman's injury and that he will be at practice on Saturday. Guard Teven Jenkins, running back Jerome Ford and safety Tony Brown will not take part in practice, but Stefanski said all three players are moving closer to returning to action.

The start of the Cleveland Browns training camp has not gone splendidly. LB Jordan Hicks retired out of nowhere, the offense doesn’t seem in sync, and WR Cedric Tillman went down with an injury on Friday, the first day fans were present this year.

After the Browns traded veteran wide receiver Amari Cooper a year ago, Tillman stepped in at a high level. Stepping up with a veteran exiting, Tillman racked up 302 yards and three touchdowns in a four-game stretch leading up to his concussion that ended his season.
