Another major winter storm is expected to slam portions of the central and eastern U.S. this week, with heavy snow and strong winds threatening to induce dangerous travel conditions, knock out power and ground flights, forecasters warned.

Much of Arkansas has been upgraded to a winter storm warning for Thursday and Friday as meteorologists get a clearer picture about the type and location of winter weather much of the state will receive.

Storm Warning has been posted for the impending winter weather that’s expected to move in Thursday. While it may begin as a rain/sleet/snow mix, snow will overspread much of North Texas through the day and continue Thursday night.
