Nintendo has confirmed that the top-notch development team behind Super Mario Odyssey, one of the best games for the Switch, has also developed Donkey Kong Bananza for the Switch 2, according to reporting by Eurogamer.

Donkey Kong Bananza was first announced in April during the first Nintendo Direct for the Nintendo Switch 2. This was a notable announcement, especially since it’s the first 3D Donkey Kong platformer since Donkey Kong 64 was released in 1999.

Playing Donkey Kong Bananza I encountered some familiar formulas. It's a huge 3D platformer, but it has 2D throwback moments, just like Super Mario Odyssey did. The smash-everythi
