A 30-year-old man was treated for non-life-threatening injuries after a bullet struck him in the ankle while he was driving in Kalamazoo early in the morning on Saturday, June 7.

Velez, 25, was killed and another person was wounded in the Aug. 11, 2024, shooting at the Colfax Avenue club.

A man shot by a Multnomah County Sheriff’s deputy near Parkrose High School Friday afternoon fired several rounds in the neighborhood and pointed a gun at officers, the Portland Police Bureau reported.
