It has not been your typical Memorial Day weekend weather for Rochester.  In fact, leading up to this holiday, we have had eight days in a row with unseasonably cool weather and the frequency of the rain is much more than we would like.

HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - After some rain moves in Sunday evening, Memorial Day looks dry at least for the daytime.

Memorial Day is the pick of the holiday weekend! After shaking off an unseasonably chilly morning, temperatures will reach the lower 70s. Tomorrow will feature the most sunshine of the holiday weekend. A perfect day for remembrance ceremonies, parades, and picnics.

Most of North Texas remains dry during the daytime hours today, with just an isolated storm possible Sunday evening.

Over the Memorial Day weekend, AAA predicts 3.61 million passengers will be on flights in the U.S., which is a significant increase of 2% over last year, when 3.55 million Americans traveled during the annual holiday.
