Illinois State Police chased a car from Northbrook to Logan Square, where the car crashed into another car at a major intersection, causing injuries and property damage.

A possible armed kidnapping that originated in the north suburbs ended in a devastating crash overnight on the Northwest Side of Chicago. Three people were taken into custody.It's a bizarre case police were still trying to piece together Tuesday morning.

State troopers found a vehicle involved in a possible armed kidnapping on the Edens Expressway, near Dundee Road. The vehicle fled police, who gave chase off the expressway and through city streets until the fleeing vehicle crashed in Logan Square.
