Indianapolis Colts QB Daniel Jones had some options in free agency before being signed. However, Jones opted to come to Indy knowing he had the best chance to start under center in the NFL by competing with a struggling Anthony Richardson.

Jones struggled with consistency throughout his time with the Giants. That's certainly the main issue for Richardson in Indy besides health. He threw for a whopping 47.7% completion percentage in 2024. That's on the QB more than it is the guys around him.
