Joel Kiviranta scored twice and Cale Makar had two assists as the Colorado Avalanche defeated the host Seattle Kraken 3-2 on Tuesday.

The Avalanche beat to the Kraken 3-2 on Tuesday to win their third-consecutive game. Joel Kiviranta registered two goals, Cale Makar posted two assists, and Justus Annunen made 25 saves. Kiviranta opened the scoring with his second goal of the season with a wrist shot from the high slot at 18:32 of the first period.

The Colorado Avalanche have suddenly put together a winning streak, topping the Seattle Kraken for their third straight victory.

The Kraken are 4-2-0 on the season, winning their last three games against the Nashville Predators, Philadelphia Flyers and the Calgary Flames. The Avalanche started the season off with four consecutive losses but back-to-back wins against the San Jose Sharks and Anaheim Ducks, have steadied the ship and they are hoping to go on a run.

Jared McCann scored his 100th goal as a Seattle Kraken to tie the game. He is the first Seattle skater to reach this milestone. McCann has scored three times in the past four games and has 10 points (4 goals, 6 assists) in 17 career games against the Avalanche.

After an 0-4-0 start, it would seem the Colorado Avalanche are back on track. The Avalanche will look to post a third consecutive victory Tuesday when they travel to Seattle to face the Kraken.
