The New Jersey Devils lost four straight games entering Wednesday night’s action. Devils head coach Sheldon Keefe blew up at practice on Wednesday after calling out star players earlier in the week. It seemed to work as New Jersey skated to a 5-1 victory over the Boston Bruins.

The Devils offense had a field day, but they watched Jacob Markstrom suffer what appeared to be a serious injury.

On Wednesday evening, the New Jersey Devils inducted franchise legend Jacques Lemaire into their Ring of Honor. After the festivities, they had to face a hungry Boston Bruins team in an attempt to snap their four-game skid.

Boston led, 1-0, after the first period, but couldn’t overcome a miserable second in which the Devils scored four times.
