Days after being hit with an FCC complaint, CBS’s 60 Minutes responded to claims that it engaged in “deceitful editing” when it aired two different responses that Vice President Kamala Harris gave to one question during an interview in early October.

Trump, on Truth Social following the Harris interview, said 60 Minutes should be “taken off the air” and CBS should lose its license. He later claimed on the social media site that the interview was a “COMPLETE AND TOTAL DISASTER” and incorrectly said that they “CREATED many additional new answers” for the vice president.

The Center for American Rights recently filed a formal complaint with the Federal Communications Commission against CBS over their blatant edits of an interview with Kamala Harris on “60 Minutes.” The complaint alleges a “significant and intentional news distortion” — a violation of FCC rules governing broadcasters’ public interest obligations.
