Ralphy Velazauez and C.J. Kayfus are two of the Cleveland Guardians' top prospects and two of the best young first baseman in the Minor Leagues.

The Guardians and Major League Baseball announced start times for contests during spring training and in the regular season.

After another effective season in 2024, the No. 2 Cleveland Guardians prospect is Chase DeLauter, who pulled in a whopping (70%) of the vote totals, more than 300 votes ahead of second place. This may have been the biggest prospect voting blowout in website history.

The Guardians are bringing Chase DeLauter back to their MLB Spring Training camp, giving the 23-year-old outfielder a chance to showcase his talents again.

With about four weeks left before pitchers and catchers report, Guardians fans are wondering if the team will do anything else to improve their chances at making a second ALCS... and winning it this time.

Each year, every team in baseball enjoys a Cinderella story. Every season, squads take cheap fliers on non-roster invitees and more often than not, one or two end up making the team. The Cleveland Guardians are trying their luck and extended spring training invitations to 23 players currently not on their 40-man roster.

For Blue Jays fans, this is simply cruel. On the field, this team is eight and a half years removed from their last playoff win. Their last three trips to the post-season have ended in sweeps, and in 2024, the team finished last in the AL East.
