Reproductive rights measures are on the ballots in 10 states after heated debates over terminology and impact — and that’s just in English.

In November, voters in 10 states — Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New York and South Dakota — will decide whether to enshrine some abortion rights in their state constitutions.

Abortion has overtaken immigration to become the second most important issue for voters heading into the 2024 election between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, Newsweek polling suggests.

“DeSantis continued his weaponization of state government against his own constituents by coordinating a taxpayer-funded press conference with the political campaign opposing Amendment 4 in his quest to silence the voices of doctors and patients suffering under Florida’s extreme abortion ban,” said DeSantis Watch spokesman Anders Croy.

The survey also found that 21 percent of Republicans who agree with the overturning of Roe still plan to vote in support of the amendment.
