The Texas Longhorns had an outstanding showing at the 2025 NFL Draft last week with a school-record 12 players selected. Of those 12 players, three of them came off the board in the first round. The New Orleans Saints selected offensive lineman Kelvin Banks Jr.

PFF’s Max Chadwick and Dalton Wasserman: “Texas’ new star quarterback will have high expectations heading into 2025, but he played well in limited action last season. Across 233 snaps, including two starts, Manning posted an 88.0 PFF overall grade with six big-time throws and two turnover-worthy plays.”

Texas football is poised to be one of the top teams in college football once again. This season, the team will be led by Arch Manning rather than Quinn Ewers, who declared for the NFL Draft and was selected by the Miami Dolphins. Manning has accomplished something rare in today’s era of college sports.
