A Powerball ticket sold in Texas won $100,000, just missing the $194 million jackpot, lottery officials say. The ticket matched four winning numbers, the Powerball and the Power Play multiplier in the drawing Saturday, Oct. 4, the Texas Lottery said.

The top 10 all won more than $70 million. The largest lottery prize ever in Texas was more than $410 million, paid out to a lottery trust in Fredericksburg on Oct. 10, 2025. In second place, a ticket worth $409 million was claimed by a lottery trust in Sugar Land in October 2024.
