With two runners on and the Mets winning 2-0 in the bottom of the seventh inning, Lindor hit Ruiz’s second pitch, a heater right down the middle, 412 feet to dead center for a three-run home run. It was his second home run of the game, his 20th career multi-home run game, and his fifth home run of the season.

Lindor homered twice — once to begin the game and once to all but end it — in a game a bit reminiscent of last October.
