The New York Mets have been linked to some trade rumors recently, some even indicating they could cut ties with young star Mark Vientos.
The White Sox have a high asking price for Luis Robert Jr., but a lot of teams in the mix think that they are going to fold.
“To be honest with you, I feel like every year besides last year I’m in trade talks,” Vientos told The Athletic on Monday. “It’s the same thing. I don’t really care. All I’m really focused on is just getting better. That’s it.”
Suárez, 34, is an impending free agent who has hit .252/.325/.593 with 36 home runs in his first 101 games. His contributions have been worth an estimated 3.5 Wins Above Replacement, according to the fine folks at Baseball Reference.
