Major League Baseball Draft begins Sunday night in Atlanta, and the Washington Nationals will make the No. 1 overall pick. The 20-round draft runs through Monday. Sunday night features Rounds 1-3; Monday features Rounds 4-20.

The 2025 MLB season arrives at the All-Star break with an interesting mix of teams making a strong push up the rankings. While the top team isn't any significant surprise—though a recent losing streak has some looking West with a cold gaze— the No. 2 spot is an AL Central squad that's been grabbing headlines as a dark horse for the Fall Classic.
