The Los Angeles Angels watched their biggest star break out of a slump in a major way thanks to 'grinding' on his swing.

The Halos have relied on the emergence of young players such as Kyren Paris and Logan O’Hoppe to fuel their fast start. One star, however, has not contributed up to his standards in the early going: superstar right fielder Mike Trout.

Trout endured a rough stretch last week before hitting two home runs on Saturday night. He still has a low batting average, although his other numbers suggest he’s performed better.
