The New York Jets continued generating headlines on May 13th as the NFL schedule release is approaching, and offseason roster discussions continue to pick up around Florham Park.

The NFL will release the complete 2026 schedule on Thursday at 8 p.m. EST. The New York Jets have known their opponents since the conclusion of the 2025 season, but the Week 1-18 order will be totally unveiled in typical primetime fashion.

Tim Patrick, who played for the Broncos from 2017-2023, has joined the Jets ahead of his 10th season in the NFL.

With a wide receiver room featuring Garrett Wilson (25), Isaiah Williams (25), Adonai Mitchell (23) and first-round draft pick Omar Cooper Jr. (22), the Jets needed an experienced veteran who can help these young guns navigate the ups and downs of the NFL season.
