Activists in Venice are stepping up protests in an attempt to disrupt, or even prevent, the planned wedding celebrations of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Emmy-winning journalist, pilot and entrepreneur Lauren Sánchez next week.

With so many people around the world frustrated by Jeff Bezos's use of his massive wealth, the protests at his luxurious wedding were predictable.

Although the exact location is still unknown, the ceremony will reportedly take place on board Bezos's $500 million superyacht Koru, which will be anchored in the lagoon in Venice.
