The body of Giovanni Pelletier, 18, has been found in Florida after the North Carolina teen vanished during a family vacation on Aug. 1.

Following the discovery of a body confirmed in a preliminary investigation to be that of missing North Carolina teenager Giovanni Pelletier, an autopsy was conducted Sunday. Giovanni, 18, was visiting Florida from Fuquay-Varina when he disappeared along Interstate 75 in Manatee County on Aug.

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. (WFTV) - The family of a North Carolina man found dead in Florida continues their pursuit for answers. Giovanni Pelletier, 18, was found dead in a pond earlier this month. Officials in Manatee County said there are no signs of foul play, but the cause of death remains undetermined.
