As he and Eric Adams compete for financial support from New York’s deep-pocketed business community, Andrew Cuomo is returning to the Hamptons on Friday for his first large-scale campaign fundraiser in the wealthy enclave since relaunching his mayoral bid.

"Why Brooklyn?" Adams asked the crowd on Avenue T, near East 58th Street, "Because Brooklyn is the place I was born ... it was the place that shaped and made me."

Eric Adams' campaign faces allegations of submitting fraudulent signatures, an issue he considers typical in politics.
