DC & Marvel Stun Fans With 2 New Crossover Comics
In early 2025, DC and Marvel excited comic readers with their announcement of their first collaboration in over two decades. The publishers confirmed a Batman/Deadpool one-shot and a Deadpool/Batman one-shot to start the new partnership.
Titled “DC Crime,” the show would be presented as a true crime docuseries that would be hosted by Jimmy Olsen (Skyler Gisondo). The first season would focus on Gorilla Grodd, a DC villain best known for his battles with The Flash.
Billed as “The Great Melbourne Bagpipe Bash,” the eclectic performance took place in Melbourne’s Federation Square, on Swanston Street, which was the scene of the Australian hard rock band’s 1976 film clip in which they played the hit on the back of a flatbed truck traveling slowly through downtown traffic with music blaring from speakers.
A second person has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Northwest D.C. that left a man dead more than two years ago.
