The Grinch is, of course, based on the much-loved Dr. Seuss children’s book ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas!’, which comes in at just 64 pages (more or less, depending on the edition).

Film fans think that Jim Carrey was made to play the Grinch - which is a good job, as it would be hard to get Dr Seuss' estate to approve another actor.
