Magic: The Gathering" has finally unveiled its upcoming 'SpongeBob SquarePants' Secret Lair Drop - and they feel terrible.

The cards will be available to purchase on March 24 on Magic’s Secret Lair web store as part of its ongoing “Universes Beyond” brand. These new SpongeBob cards are just reskinned pre-existing Magic cards and can be used in standard play. The cards are being sold for $29.99 for regular versions and $39.99 for foil editions.

SpongeBob SquarePants is venturing far beyond Bikini Bottom in a surprising new partnership that brings the beloved animated character and his friends into the world of Magic: The Gathering. Secret Lair, a special collection within the Magic: The Gathering universe, is set to release a crossover set featuring SpongeBob SquarePants characters.

The entire Bikini Bottom gang is coming ashore in the new Magic: The Gathering‘s Secret Lair collections. Characters from the SpongeBob SquarePants series will appear on cards with unique art styles in three distinct packs.

Secret Lair × SpongeBob SquarePants: Legends of Bikini Bottom, which celebrates the core of each character and makes them some of Magic's most powerful cards through the vision of artists Caleb Meurer and Gregg Schigiel.

First teased a while back in MagicCon Las Vegas last year, Collider announced yesterday that Magic: The Gathering will be releasing three different Secret Lair x SpongeBob SquarePants drops on 24 March.

SpongeBob SquarePants is the latest pop-culture collab coming to the card game, with a wink at its internet infamy beyond the Nickelodeon series.
