The Seattle Seahawks are Super Bowl champions for the second time in franchise history following a 29-13 win over the New England Patriots on Sunday.

No one expected the Seahawks to go to — much less win — the Super Bowl this year. Even their architect, general manager John Schneider, was not anticipating a championship 12 months ago as he was building this team.

Seattle Public Schools announced that they will operate as normal on Wednesday -- the day the Seattle Seahawks will hold a celebratory ceremony and parade following their Super Bowl win. Schools
