Russia says it has identified three suspects involved in the shooting of high-profile military general Lt Gen Vladimir Alexeyev. They include the man said to have carried out the attack, who has been named as Russian citizen Lyubomir Korba.

Russia’s Federal Security Service says a man suspected of shooting a deputy chief of Russia’s military intelligence agency in Moscow has been detained in Dubai and handed over to Russia.

The suspect, Russian national Lyubomir Korba, was arrested and extradited from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, where he fled hours after the attack, Russia’s state-run TASS news agency reported on Sunday, citing the FSB.
