Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith gave an encouraging injury update after limping through last week's game against the Broncos.

Denver's defense bailed out the Broncos in a 10-7 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday night. The Broncos sacked Geno Smith six times to make up for their spotty performances on offense and special teams.

The Broncos began the third-quarter possession at the Las Vegas 33-yard line after an interception and big return by linebacker Dondrea Tillman. The Denver offense had already punted five times and ended another drive with an interception, but now they were in prime position to grab the lead.

At least one former Broncos player saw it differently. Aqib Talib, who won Super Bowl 50 with Denver following the 2025 season, took to Twitter/X with an unconventional take.
